This is my most fun and special announcement yet- on September 10, I married my partner, Wil Burge, and we are starting married life together! I also made the decision to change my name, and will be known as Genevieve Burge going forward rather than Genevieve McCarthy. I'm really excited to start this chapter with Wil and start working again soon under my new name :) 

Very pleased to announce that this year I will joining the cast of Blippi the Musical as a Swing and Baby Shark Live as the Dance Captain and Swing! I will be featured in Blippi through the end of February and joining the cast of Baby Shark from March to July. 

I'm so surprised and excited to share that the professional recording of the 2021 cast of Blippi the Musical has been picked up by Netflix and is now available to stream! It's been so incredible to see myself and my friends on the platform and filming it was a VERY new valuable experience as well :) You can easily find it on Netflix by searching "Blippi the Musical" or "Genevieve McCarthy"! I am so delighted to announce that I have been contracted again by Round Room Live to be the Swing/Dance Captain on two of their upcoming tours this summer: Baby Shark Live and Blippi the Musical! We have all been eagerly waiting to perform again for a year and a half, and with the help of vaccines and safety protocols, I am so grateful to be returning to the stage in front of live audiences again. Come see us in a city near you!

I'm going to be singing two songs in this performance with Inner Artist Performance Studios, and thrilled to be performing again for the first time since March!

Extremely pleased to be returning to the Baby Shark Live! national tour again this spring reprising my Swing position! I'm also happy to announce I've also been given the opportunity to be the show's Dance Captain for this leg of the tour, and we will be traveling to almost all of the states we missed last fall!

​I'm super happy to announce my first contract with RWS will be a Christmas contract at King's Dominion Park in Virginia! Very excited to start my relationship with RWS, befriend miss Sally Brown on this contract and get to know Richmond and all it has to offer. :)

​This fall I'll be going on my first ever national tour in the cast of Baby Shark Live! in the North American Premiere of the show. We'll be traveling all over the country in the span of 6 weeks, the dates are all listed on babysharklive.com. So excited to be doing what I love full time again and making children all across the country smile!

Super pleased to announce that I’ll be a cast member in the new musical Humanity’s Child that premiered at the New York Theatre Festival “Summerfest” this summer and has continued on to a 4-week Off-broadway run at the Players Theater! This musical is truly innovative and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to make my Off-Broadway debut with such a fun cast & creative team. I will be playing the role of Humanity's Shadow in the show which runs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (two-show day) through September 1st.
